I began with Disability Group upon my 3rd application. I filled out all the Medical Releases.

Disability Group never obtained the needed Medical Records for my case. A Lawyer that I had never met or talked to showed up on the day of Court hearing to represent me. There were no records for our side (just a disorganized paper file), the Judge was very defamatory, and the Lawyer who was supposed to be representing me said nothing in defense. naturally, my Claim was denied.

They had told mew that they would represent me all the way which was a lie. They turned around and told me they do not represent past the Judge's decision. I had to scramble to find an Attorney that would represent me on Appeal and beyond as well as file an Appeal (the Judge was also guilty of Judicial Misconduct). I came to Binder and Binder who was also advertised under Social Security Disability Attorneys and on TV (BIG, BIG MISTAKE).

I was told that they would take it and not to worry (riiiiiight). I signed all the forms and Medical releases. I went through more them one case worker, and never was allowed to talk to a Lawyer from their company until the end. My case was dragging now to 5 years.

Starting to be behind on rent, and having already wiped out my Colorado and Arizona Teacher Retirement, I told Binder and Binder that I was in Dire Need. I was told by the case worker not to worry, and she confirmed that they had all the Medical records that were favorable. 5 Months later, and with nothing happening, I contacted Social Security, They had only my previous address, and had never heard of Binder and Binder. My friend who was a former Federal Court Judge got this Case worker from Binder and Binder on the speaker phone and caught her in several lies.

Binder and Binder had done no work at all. My case was finally marked as critical before Appeals Council. I demanded to talk to one of Binder and Binder's Attorneys, and was transferred to a J. Anklowitz.

My case Worker was changed and I was further strung along. I went to the Internet out of curiosity and found many complaints against Binder and Binder as well as Disability Group (and the fact that Binder and Binder had even filed Bankruptsy). I was lied to all the more by this new case worker. All I had received from Binder and Binder was an invoice asking to send money for Medical records to an agency named Health Port (under a Binder and Binder Letterhead).

Having talked to Dr. Abidov, my Cardiologist and my other Doctors, they confirmed that they do no deal withan Agency called Healthport. Come to find out that many of my Doctors and Physical Therapist had sent Medical reports to Binder and Binder, and that Social Security Appeals Council had never received them ( Social Security had records from 2012 that were biased toward them.....as shown in the argument letter by J Anklowitz). The records that had been sent by my Doctors and Physical Therapist would have showed beyond a reasonable doubt that I am disabled.

I received a letter at the beginning of this week from Social Security that Denied my claim before Appeals Council.

I have received calls from both the new case worker at Binder and Binder as well as J Anklowitz from Binder and Binder wanting me to call them (I have no minutes on my phone, am without any money, and have no desire to talk to these crooks). Being bedridden, I have to somehow try to find an Attorney who will represent me in Federal Court, as well as take legal action against Binder and Binder, and Disability Group.

Reason of review: Consumer Fraud, False Advertising, Scam, Attorney Malpractice.

Preferred solution: Criminal charges filed such as Consumer Fraud, False advertising, and any other proper Criminal charges. They are no longer allowed to advertise or scam people. I want to file a Law Suit against Binder and Binder, and Disability Group. Others should do..

Binder And Binder Cons: Clearly are dishonest, Poor performance, Communication.

Location: Tucson, Arizona

What People Don't Understand - 1 - Binder & Binder are NOT attorneys. They are “advocates”.

#2 - Social Security is nothing but a waiting game. They are understaffed and underfunded. It is not that the lawyer/representative is not doing anything, it is that your file is at the SSA in a pile and will not get looked at or scheduled for months or years. There is nothing for your representative to do during this wait.

#3 - 90% of cases are denied the very first time due to the fact that over half of the denied cases will not appeal. This is from an attorneywho previously worked FOR SSA #4 - it is not determined by whether your condition is on the list of disabilities, but by how severe your symptoms are #5 - it is also determined by if you can do ANY job (janitorial, laundry services, etc.) not just be the job you previously had #6 - contact your Congressman about your case. It's not a guarantee, but it can help. I have been through this process several times - first for my (now ex) husband who had a rare autoimmune disease (took 2 years from initial filing), and my son who has severe PTSD (1 1/2 years from initial filing), and now myself.

I was denied at first Judicial Hearing for SSD and now just got my date for SSI Judicial Hearing. I filed initially in 2013
